Cooking Instructions for White Rice Variety

  1. Wash the rice with warm water.
  2. In a pot or rice cooker add water with ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on your softness preference (1 cup rice: 1 - 2 cup(s) water).

Rice Cooker: Cook as per rice cooker instruction

In a pot: Start with medium heat until boiling, turn to low heat to continue cooking until done. (approximately 15-25 mins)

Cooking Instructions for Brown Rice

  1. Wash the rice with warm water
  2. In a pot or rice cooker add water with ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on your softness preference (1 cup rice: 1 - 2 cup(s) water).

Rice Cooker: Cook as per rice cooker instruction

In a pot: Start with medium heat until boiling, turn to low heat to continue cooking until done. (approximately 25-30 mins)

 

Note: You may add more water if you want the rice softer. Store in a cool dry place.

 

Our Native Black, Red and Native Blend Rice  are  freshly-milled and unpolished and therefore has the complete nutritious elements of healthy grains. As such, we need careful handling and proper storage for these products, as it can easily go rancid and/or insects are easily attracted to it.

Handling/ Storage

  1. Store in an airtight container.
  2. Store in a cool dry place.
  3. Refrigerate to prolong freshness.
  4. Consume within 30 days.

Cooking:

  1. Wash rice in warm water.
  2. Place in a rice cooker or pot with water ratio of 1:2 (1 cup rice, 2 cups water).

                Rice cooker: Cook as per rice cooker instructions.

                Pot: Start with medium heat until boiling, then turn to low heat to continue cooking until done (approximately 40-45 minutes)
